Hawaii, December 7, 1941. The peaceful blue sky is turned dark by hundreds of Japanese fighter planes. Bombs and bullets rained onto the vessels below exploding in flames. Within 2 hours of destruction, the fight was over, leaving behind a trail of damaged battleships and airplanes. Over 2400 American lives were taken that day, and thousand injured.
The emotional scenery of the attack is depicted in this limited edition painting on canvas, with meticulous detail, that will bring you back to “the date which will live in infamy”. You can almost smell the smoke, hear the sound of mighty structures tearing apart, feel the heat of fire on board a battleship, experience the fear and the strength of those who fought. Never forget – freedom isn’t free.
